Crows are generalists, so like us, they need to learn to find food. My favourite crow story is that apparently they've learned how to ice fish. We don't mind thinking that other species can see, run or smell better than us...but it seems to send a bit of a 'we are not alone' shiver through the collective consciousness when studies remind that other species think as well...

I just hope the Daily Mail does not report this as 'crows are cleverer than seven-year-olds'...
