When I think of drones I can't help but shake my head as I recall the abuse and negative management of this innovative technology.
From President Obama's use of them in the Middle East and Africa with their 2% success rate (translation 98% of the people killed by the blast are innocent) to the recent marketing fail at TGI Fridays (a mistletoe drone smashed into, and cut up a customer's face), and all of the horrible potentials ahead with policing, security and warfare, I was relieved to read this article illustrating several positive and inspiring uses for drone technology.
This 'Drones for Good Award' has resulted in some brilliant ideas and gives us hope that all is not gloomy ahead in the world of flying robots.
What more good uses can you see drones being put to or is this another nail in our coffin?
Our message is that we can use it for the good of people all over the world. We've already seen a lot of potential for humanitarian uses
