Hedgehog street, a campaign ran by People's Trust for Endangered Species and the British Hedgehog Preservation Society, has made a stylish appearance at the Hampton Court flower show. Their garden display highlights the need for connectivity between habitats for hedgehogs, which are often unable to move easily from garden to garden due to a culture of enclosing our properties.

The key, like on farmland, is a variety of habitats with places to hide and forage. Additionally, there are many dangers for hedgehogs in the garden, slug pellets and strimmers should be avoided and compost heaps should be checked carefully before moving or turning.
